Poets & singers welcome * Free to attend & participate. Hosted by Joliet’s 1st Poet Laureate, Uxmar Torres!
Open mic slots are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Every open mic performer can recite 2 poems or 2 songs. Acoustic and a cappella verses only (that means no beats). No cover songs or reading of another artist’s work. Due to the nature and content of the event, performers and audience members under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
