Wonders of Will County: Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve

On these naturalist-led hikes, discover the plants, animals and land formations that make up some of our most protected sites. Meet the Wonders of Will County in Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve. The diversity of prairie wildflowers in one of the few remaining savanna woodlands is just a taste of what sets this preserve apart.
Fee: Free! Age: Ages 10 and older. Registration is required by Thursday, Aug. 29, by calling 708-946-2216 or online.
This hike will be no longer than 1.5 miles and take place on natural and crushed limestone surfaces. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
