Four Rivers for All Abilities

Experience nature like never before! Join the Four Rivers staff at hands-on exploration stations around the preserve.

Discover the plants and animals in the woods, water and prairie. Each station will be unique and fully inclusive of all visitors. This day is designed specifically to introduce all of the center’s inclusive practices to organizations and families. Four Rivers is for everyone, regardless of ability level or previous experience with the outdoors.

Two sessions will be offered: Session 1: 10-11:30 a.m. Session 2: 1-2:30 p.m. Fee: Free! Age: All ages. Registration required by Tuesday, July 23, by calling 815-722-9470 or online.

Four Rivers is a fully inclusive facility. The stations will take place on paved trails. Traveling through all stations will cover less than 1 mile. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
