Bat Night for Adults
August 30 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Enjoy an evening at Hammel Woods exploring the habitat of our local bat species. Watch the bats emerge from their sleeping quarters to go out on their nightly hunt. Using echolocation technology, listen for bats as we stretch our legs on a short hike. Discover some fascinating facts about these flying mammals along the way as we end the evening around a campfire. You are welcome to bring a beer or wine to wind down the event.
Fee: Free! Age: Ages 21 and older.
Registration required by Wednesday, Aug. 28, by calling 815-722-9301 or online:
