Wild Child

Join a naturalist for hands-on activities such as games, stories, crafts, hikes and more!

Ages 3-5. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Answer the call of your wild child by getting outside with this monthly nature-themed program geared toward children ages 3 to 5.  The last Friday of each month we will have something new for you and your child to explore while getting a little dirt on those hands and knees.

Registration required by Thursday, Sept. 25: 815-722-4121. Please register everyone in your group, children and adults.

Dress accordingly and be prepared for all outdoor activities as well as experiencing all weather types (rain, shine and even snow).Trails are on natural, uneven surfaces with elevation changes. Hidden Oaks Nature Center is an accessible facility. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
