Tour of Wallace-Dickey Cemetery & The Oaks

General W. H.L Wallace was killed while leading his Division during the Civil War battle of Shiloh in 1862. He and his family are buried in this private, land-locked cemetery on the north bluff in Ottawa.

Tours will begin at the LaSalle County Historical Society. The trolley from Starved Rock Lodge will transport attendees from Utica to the north bluff of Ottawa for the cemetery and house tours.  The trolley will leave the museum in Utica at 10am, 12noon and 2pm.  Tickets are $20.00 per person.  Seating is limited and registration and pre-payment is required and can be done at office@lasallecountyhistoricalsociety.org.
