Think & Drink – How Artists Create: The Process

Our next Think & Drink features artist and designer John McDavitt, whose colorful Route 66 bench is now on display outside the Gaylord Building as part of Lockport’s Route 66 100th Anniversary Bench Walk.

In this engaging presentation, John will explore the creative process, showing how artists develop ideas, solve problems, and bring a project from concept to finished work. He’ll also discuss his own artistic career, including his work on our Route 66 bench, LOL (“Lots of Lincolns”), and what it takes to create public art that connects with a community.
