Join us for a special Think & Drink featuring filmmaker Erika Valenciana as she screens and discusses her compelling, award-winning documentary, Broken Flight. This powerful film highlights the tireless efforts of avian advocates, scientists, and veterinarians who rescue, study, and catalog the birds injured or killed by collisions with Chicago’s skyscrapers.
After the screening, Valenciana will be joined by special guest Annette Prince, Director of Chicago Bird Collision Monitors. Together, they’ll explore critical lifesaving initiatives and discuss the broader challenges migratory birds face in urban environments.
