T-Shirt Quilting Class

Do you have a bunch of T-shirts that you, a family member, or a friend are keeping for sentimental reasons? Take this class and create a beautiful Memory Quilt. You will learn how to construct your blocks by preparing your T-shirts; deciding on quilt size, color scheme of your choice, and construction style; then attaching sashing and setting squares and borders. Prep-work for the first class (washing T-shirts) and homework (piecing, cutting, and sewing) will be part of the fun. Come and create with us! Sample is hung up at the store for you to see. Will be using the FENCE POST pattern and 12 of your T-shirts to make this quilt. Teacher: Debbie Herman. Saturdays August 1 & 8 (must attend both classes to complete)9:30am-2:30pm. Cost is $100.
