Living History Presentation: Lincoln and the I&M Canal

February 4 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

February isn’t only the month of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday but the 4th happens to be a great day to venture to the park and take in a living history performance and presentation of Lincoln and his involvement with the Illinois and Michigan Canal which happens to flow next to Starved Rock State Park!

This program is FREE and begins at 1pm. Glenn Braun brings history to life during this unique presentation at the Starved Rock Visitor Center. Braun who is a reenact will portray Abraham Lincoln and regale the audience with tales of his (Lincoln’s) involvement in the construction and prosperity of the Illinois and Michigan Canal.

No registration requires, seating is first come, first seated.
