Bureau County History Center: H. W. Immke Exhibit Reopens

The H.W. Immke Exhibit, which originally debuted on September 5, 2025, is scheduled to reopen to the public March 7, 2026. This display features a vast collection of restored glass plate negatives and vintage photography equipment from local Princeton photographer Henry William Immke. Location: Newell Bryant Museum on the Bureau County History Center campus. The gallery will be open Friday and Saturday from noon to 5:00 pm. Special Services: Visitors can submit family surnames for researchers to search the Immke database to locate potential ancestors within the 20,000 scanned images. Private appointments may be scheduled by calling (815) 875-2184.
