BBQ 4 Vets BBQ Competition & Benefit
We invite you to our “Southland Salutes BBQ 4 Vets” BBQ Competition & Benefit July 12th at Konows Farm in Homer Glen.
If you make the best BBQ Ribs and Chicken Wings, then join us as a competitor, spots are still available for us backyard BBQ enthusiasts. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded. 100% of the proceeds generated will benefit the Manteno Home for Veterans, Gold Star Families, Local Veterans and Veteran Groups. This event is FREE to the public!
Join us for food, fun, and family entertainment. Food (until it runs out) from Big Boom BBQ, hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob, and sweet treats from Konows all available for purchase, along with a cash bar to quench your thirst. For the kids…bounce house, bounce pillows, and a magic show and balloon creations provided by Juggle Dave, Face Painter Adam, 50/50 and Basket Raffles. Visit with the Manteno Veterans at 12 pm and the Lincolnway ROTC Color Guard. Good Time DJ Keith from 6 pm to 10pm.
