Illinois Watercolor Society Member Exhibition

The Illinois Watercolor Society was established in 1981, committed to promoting and encouraging the pursuit of excellence in water-based media throughout Illinois. Since that time, IWS has grown from a small group of painters to a nationally-recognized watercolor society with members stretching from Vermont to California.

Today, IWS continues to pursue its mission by sponsoring two yearly exhibitions: a National Juried Exhibition open to entries from artists across the country and a Members’ Exhibition. The Society offers members the opportunity to expand creative skills, publishes a newsletter, and maintains a website for learning and promotional resources to further assist members.
