Ribbon Cutting & Opening Ceremony for the Dora Schoonmaker Exhibit

Dora grew up in Wilmington and Channahon and taught school in Morris, IL in the  1870s. She became the first female Methodist missionary to go to Japan. She started the first girls school and the school has evolved to an educational institution from kindergarden through graduate school. Alumni from the school will be participating in the opening ceremony.
