SUMMARY:Bubbly Creek End-of-Summer Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Come out to learn\, enjoy\, and explore this hidden gem of a park along the Chicago River!\nAfter a summer of monthly cleanups\, paddles\, and other programming opportunities\, at this end-of-season celebration we will highlight the positive impacts of community volunteers\, engage in fun activities with local organizations\, and explore the plants and animals that call the park home. \nParticipants can stop by for coffee and snacks\, pop in on family-friendly activities like fishing and an art station happening throughout the event\, or learn more about what community organizations are doing in the area. You can also learn about the types of litter found at the park this season and even grab some gloves and pick up trash onsite. \nThese events are rain or shine\, but should there be threatening weather\, staff will alert all registered participants at least two hours before an event if it is cancelled due to weather. \nRegistration is not necessary\, but helpful so we can plan for supplies.  \n
