Then immerse yourself in diverse melodies: cascading river\, buzzy hum of insects\, trilling birds\, gentle rustling tree leaves and prairie grasses. \nResearch shows that listening to nature’s sounds can reduce stress and enhance well-being. Rejuvenate\, unwind and connect with the natural world through summer sounds. Fee: Free! Age: Ages 10 and older. (Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.) Registration required by Tuesday\, Aug. 6\, by calling 815-722-9301 or online. \nPlease dress to enjoy the outdoors\, whatever the weather. Don’t forget bug spray. We will stop to sit and listen. A mat will be provided\, but you may bring your own mat or camp chair.
