DESCRIPTION:This ongoing program runs from Wednesday\, Sept. 23\, to Sunday\, Dec. 13. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays to Sundays.This traveling exhibition\, developed by South Carolina silhouette artist Clay Rice and the South Carolina State Museum\, is based on the artists childrens book The Stick\, about a young boy who embarks on an exciting journey after finding a stick. With original hand-cut illustrations from the artist\, The Stick will come to life in this fascinating traveling exhibit. Rice blends the elegant black and white silhouette tradition with a colorful world in the story of the power of imagination. This exhibit is proudly sponsored by The Nature Foundation of Will County.\n
