GRAB A BIKE & GO  Resuming April 15, 2021

Get ready to break out of the house and hit the trails of the Illinois & Michigan Canal National Heritage Area!
The Canal Corridor Association is getting ready to relaunch the I&M Canal Bike Share in April. After the much-anticipated launch of the program in late summer of 209, we had to remove the bikes in 2020 due to concerns about COVID-19. Now the bikes are returning and we’re ready to expand the program in 2021! The I&M Canal Bike Share will return to its original five locations – Lockport, Midewin, Channahon, Morris and LaSalle – as soon as weather permits. Bikes can be rented with a cell phone on an hourly basis and quickly unlocked from the station for a ride along the many trails in the Heritage Area as well as through the many historical downtowns and neighborhoods in our picturesque canal towns.
The I&M Canal Bike system is now on Movatic!
